Members of the City’s Boards and Commissions will meet for training on open government rules as required by the Home Rule Charter. The program will provide information relating to ethics, open government, open meetings, open records, and promoting citizen participation in municipal government.

The training on May 8th for members of the City’s advisory boards:

  • Business Retention & Development Committee
  • Cultural Council
  • Golf Course Advisory Board
  • Historical Commission
  • Housing Authority
  • Library Board of Trustees
  • Open Space Advisory Board
  • Parks & Public Landscaping Advisory Board
  • Revitalization Commission
  • Sustainability Advisory Board
  • Youth Advisory Board

The training on May 4th is for members of the City’s quasi-judicial boards:

  • Board of Adjustment
  • Building Code Board of Appeals
  • Historic Preservation Commission
  • Local Licensing Authority
  • Planning Commission
