Recreation|Senior Center Construction Closures
As you know we are in the thick of the construction project at the Recreation|Senior Center.
Below are some important dates that may affect your use of different areas of the facility.

Parking Lot CLOSED: July 30 - August 27th
There will be NO access to the parking lot at the Recreation Senior Center during this time including the ability to drop off or pick up at the entrance. Parking is available
- at the Skate Park
- at the Police Station
- along one lane of Via Appia
- in nearby neighborhoods (legally parked)
Please allow more time for parking when visiting the facility during this time.
Pool CLOSED: August 1st-September 30th
The indoor pool area at the Recreation|Senior Center, including sauna and steam room, will be closed during this time. Memory Square pool will be open from 7:00am-7:00pm seven days a week during the closure and will have water aerobics, lap swimming, stroke clinics, open swim and private mini lessons. Maintenance/Construction CLOSURE: August 18th-September 3rd
The entire Recreation|Senior Center will be closed during this time. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 4th. This closure is a combination of our annual maintenance week with some additional time for construction. NOTE: August 18th - 26th Louisville Recreation Center monthly passes can be used at Bob L. Burger Recreation Center during the facility closure period. Punch passes will not be valid at the Lafayette center. An issued Louisville Recreation Center pass must be presented for valid admission. Daily visit fee will apply if a Louisville ID card is not presented. August 27th - September 3rd Bob L. Burger will not be available but Memory Square Pool will still be open.
NEW Cardio, Weights and Youth Area OPEN: September 4th
YAY! When the Recreation|Senior Center reopens on September 4th phase one of the project will be open! This includes the youth classrooms, indoor playground, cardio area, circuit weights and free weights. We are excited to have this portion of the project completed!
