Louisville Announces Finalists for Director of Library & Museum Services Position

The City of Louisville today announced the names of the candidates to be interviewed for the Director of Library & Museum Services position. They are:

  • Sharon Nemechek, Director of Archives & Collections, Douglas County Libraries, CO
  • Julianne Rist, Director of Public Services, Jefferson County Public Library, CO
  • Maria Tucker, Manager of Library Special Collections & Museum Services, Pueblo City-County Library District, CO

Louisville City Manager, Heather Balser stated, "I am pleased to invite three highly-qualified candidates to interview for the Director of Library & Museum Services position. The candidates were selected from a strong pool of applicants and offer diverse backgrounds, experience and expertise."

The City will host an Open House for the candidates on Thursday, September 20th from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm at Louisville Center for the Arts, 801 Grant Street, with the candidates giving short introductions at 5:45 pm pm. This will be an opportunity for residents and employees to meet the candidates.
