Meet in Front of the Blue Parrot Restaurant, corner of Main Street and Pine Street.

To mark the 100th anniversary of this significant historical event in Colorado, come on a historical driving tour of Louisville locations that were important in the 1914 Hecla strike conflict. Ron Buffo will tell the stories of the sequence of events at a few planned stops. We will first meet outside the Blue Parrot, which was the location of the Union Hall where angry striking miners congregated on April 27, 1914 before they headed towards the Hecla Mine.

Attendees are responsible for their own transportation. A map will be provided at the start of the tour. The tour is expected to last 60-90 minutes.
