Eco-Cycle charges a $3 fee for every vehicle coming to the Center for Hard-to-Recycle Materials (CHaRM) to recycle materials. The fee is in addition to the recycling fees that apply to specific materials like electronics, bike tires and porcelain.

Scrap Metal Recycling
The City's pilot scrap metal recycling program accepts scrap metal items with the exception of refrigerators, propane tanks, and other sealed containers, cable, wire, batteries, or any hazardous waste materials. Also, no fluids, trash, plastic, tires or rubber products will be permitted.
The City of Louisville Public Works and Operations Yard is located at 1600 Empire Road. The pilot Scrap Metal Drop-off will be open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM– 3:30 PM excluding City holidays. For additional information, please contact us by email or call 303.335.4769.
