The City of Louisville adheres to all of the Open Government rules and the the City's Code of Ethics established in the Home Rule Charter and the State of Colorado.
- Louisville Home Rule Charter § 5-1
It is declared to be a matter of statewide concern and the policy of this state that the formation of public policy is public business and may not be conducted in secret.

Open Government - All of the City's open government rules are included in the annual Open Government and Ethics Pamphlet.
Code of Ethics - The Code of Ethics establishes rules and expectations for public officials. Detailed information about the Code of Ethics may be found here.
Public Information Request Procedures and Fees
Public Participation and Involvement Policy - Public participation is an essential element of the City’s representative form of government. To promote effective public participation the City Council adopted the Public Involvement Policy.
