To apply for a Library card, you will need to complete a short application. You may download and print the application form or ask for one at the Library's Circulation Desk. You will need to bring the completed application to the Library for final processing and verification.
- If you are 16 years or older, you will need photo ID and proof of current address. Items that can be used to verify your current address include:
- Personal check with imprinted address
- Current utility bill
- Current lease
- Vehicle registration
- If you are 15 years or younger, a parent or guardian must sign the application and provide identification.
With your card, you may check your library record, place holds, cancel holds, and renew your checked-out materials online.
Get a Temporary Card Number
What if the Library is closed, you need access to the Library databases, and you don't have a Library card?
You may sign up online for a temporary card number that will allow you to access Library online resources. A temporary card number is valid for 14 days. To obtain a permanent Library card, please come to the Library with picture ID and proof of address.
Information on number of items you may borrow, length of the loan period, number of renewals, and overdue fees. If your account exceeds $10 in overdue fines or other fees, you will not be able to check out additional materials until your balance is below $10.
