Computer access is free at the Library for adults, teens, and children.
Access is available on a first-come, first-served basis; you must have a Louisville Library account.
In addition to several online public access catalog (OPAC) computers, the Library has 36 computers:
- Adult Services = 16 Internet computers
- Teen Services = 12 Internet computers, including 4 in the Homework Center
- Children's Services = 4 Internet computers and 4 computers for games
Internet computers also include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher; and Adobe Reader.
Files can be uploaded from or saved to a patron's own CD or USB flash drive. The Library typically has flash drives for sale (~$5) at the Reference Desk.
Printing is available from workstations; B&W is 10¢ per page and color is 50¢ per page; pre-payment to an online account with coins or bills is required.
