Book Club Bags were developed just for reading groups—like yours! Each bag contains eight paperback copies of a noteworthy book, along with discussion questions, reviews, an author profile, and other related information. The bags may be checked out for six weeks and are available on the second floor, near the magazines.

Here are some other things to know about Book Club Bags:

  • A bag may be checked out for six weeks to a Louisville Library cardholder.
  • Only one bag may be checked out at a time.
  • There are no renewals on a Book Club Bag.
  • There is a$1.00 per day overdue fee for a Book Club Bag
    • bags that are returned incomplete will be assessed a fee of $1.00 per day until all missing items are returned.

  • Replacement cost of an entire bag is $150.
  • Book Club Bags must be returned to the Circulation Desk inside the Library. Please do not put the bags into any of the book drops.
