Many local organizations offer arts education opportunities for children and adults. For more information, please contact the presenting organization.

      • Summer Clay Camps for Kids (Weekly, June 5-Aug 11)
        • During our five day Summer Clay Camps, students will explore potters' wheel and hand-building techniques with hands-on assistance to make wonderful vessels and sculpture. We encourage creativity while learning the basics and developing personal styles.

        • 5-week sessions that meet once a week
        • Teens (Tuesdays), all students ages 8+ (Wednesdays or Thursdays)
      • Spring 2017 Adult Pottery Classes: Beginning & Beyond (classes begin May 8, 9 & 20)
        •  6 Week Course: 5 Classes + 3 Studios
        • Learn or re-learn basic potters' wheel, hand-building and glaze techniques.  Create functional forms like mugs, bowls and vases or experiment with sculpture.  We provide expert instruction, clay and tools.

      • Danse Etoile Ballet's Summer Intensive Program gives driven students the opportunity to immerse themselves in an intensive dance training, advancing their technical, artistic and performance skills while staying local to Louisville.  Classical ballet techniques are emphasized, supplemented with modern and jazz elements. Admission is by audition, so please contact Marie-Jose Payannet at mariejose@danseetoile.org to set up an appointment.
