Street Resurfacing Project
City Council Awarded the contract to APC Construction Company, LLC (APC). The work consists of the demolition, asphalt milling, asphalt patching and leveling, hot chip seal, chip seal, slurry seal, pavement marking and traffic control within subdivisions and/or on specified streets. Tentative construction schedule is May through August.
Concrete Replacement Project
Norra Concrete Company is the Contractor for the project. The project includes replacement of broken, settled and spalled public concrete improvements such as curb, gutter, curb cuts, walk, bike path, cross pan, inlet decks and handicap ramps at various locations. The Work consists of the demolition, subgrade material processing, installation of new concrete and traffic control within subdivisions and/or on specified streets. Work will continue thru June. Contractor will relocate operations to Phase III, Centennial Valley the week of April 23. Work will continue on Washington Ave. the week of April 16th. Work in the Centennial Valley neighborhood (i.e. Lois Dr., Lois Cr., Lincoln Cr. and Hoover Ct.) will continue through the end of April. Due to minimal impact to abutting grass areas the Contractor is installing topsoil and seed between back of walk and existing grass areas. There will be traffic control by construction signage and flaggers. Drive with caution through the construction zones.
Street Reconstruction Project
Asphalt Specialties Company is the contractor for the project. The Work consists of the demolition, asphalt removal, subgrade shaping and material processing, asphalt paving, pavement marking and traffic control within subdivisions and/or on specified streets. Tentative construction schedule is June thru September.
2018 Water Main Replacement Project
The project bid on April 18th. BEC Construction is the apparant low bidder for the project. The contract will go to Council on May 1st for approval. Work is schduled to start on Hoover Ave. May 14 to June 15, see above map
Construction projects continue in the downtown area and DELO Development.
The South Street Underpass, is open to the Public. Project is 95% complete.
Remaining items of work includes right of way fencing and punch list work.
The top layer of asphalt pavement will be installed on South/Front/Short Streets in early to mid 2018.
2017 Water Main Replacement Project
City Council Awarded the contract to Colorado Civil Infrastructure, Inc. Project is 95% complete. Remaining items of work include punch list repairs, clean up and paperwork.
Lee Ave./Walnut St. Utilities, Street Reconstruction and Spruce Street cul-de-sac Installations
Utility, asphalt and concrete replacement on Lee Ave. and Walnut St. is complete. Remaining items of work include landscaping and clean up.
Sid Copeland Water Treatment Plant (SCWTP) High Zone/Mid Zone Pump Station
Project was awarded to Integrated Water Services. construction includes the installation of a new water main through the North Open Space from SCWTP to Centennial Drive. Work is scheduled from December 2017 to April 2018. Multiple single day trail closures and temporary trail segments will be encountered.
