COVID-19 (coronavirus)  

Effective March 24, 2020, City indoor facilities and most outdoor recreational facilities will be closed until further notice. Parks and open space remain open, but residents are reminded to maintain six feet of distance and not to gather in groups. Visit for the full details.

Due to the rapidly changing nature of public health guidance for in-person events, information will change. Please check the calendar before attending any City events. Event cancellations and information for joining public meetings that are available online will be available on this calendar

Wildlife Games - Open Space Education Program

Wildlife Games

When:  Saturday, September 7th from 2:00 to 3:00 pm

Where:  Keith Helart Park, Monarch Ct.

Appropriate Audience:  Ages 5-12

Description: Can you walk like a bear? Can you jump as far as a frog? Can you find prey using echolocation like a bat?

Join the Louisville Ranger Naturalist and play some fun games focused on the movements and ecology of local wildlife! Kids will touch animal pelts, learn how animals walk, see how far they can jump, and play other wild life related games!
