Education & Outreach
Our Open Space is a very special place for all to enjoy. The Rockies provide a beautiful backdrop and we can hike and observe nature close to home. Our educational programs are free and there is something for everyone from the young to the young at heart. Observe bugs, paint vistas, or try to stump the Rangers with a question and increase your enjoyment of, and appreciation for, Louisville’s natural areas.

They will bring live educational birds (owls, hawks, falcons) that are ambassadors for their species and help us better understand the importance of these beautiful creatures in our environment. Learn about the natural history (diet, adaptations, migration, etc.) of birds of prey and what is involved in caring and rehabilitating them.
