COVID-19 (coronavirus)  

Effective March 24, 2020, City indoor facilities and most outdoor recreational facilities will be closed until further notice. Parks and open space remain open, but residents are reminded to maintain six feet of distance and not to gather in groups. Visit for the full details.

Due to the rapidly changing nature of public health guidance for in-person events, information will change. Please check the calendar before attending any City events. Event cancellations and information for joining public meetings that are available online will be available on this calendar.

Xeriscapes that Bring Life to Your Yard

The City has partnered with Resource Central to offer Louisville residents this opportunity to learn how to reduce water bills and encourage pollinators with this free seminar on xeriscaping. 

Bring the beauty of Colorado into your yard and create vital habitat for pollinators through Xeriscaping (a fancy word for waterwise landscaping) with help from expert landscape designer, Alison Peck of Matrix Gardens.  Through this class you will learn simple and beautiful gardening techniques to help provide pollinators sanctuaries while also enjoying the delight of sharing your outdoor space with winged visitors and the blooms that attract them.
