The Louisville Fire Protection District (LFPD) will host an Open House intended to provide residents with an opportunity to learn about the Wildfire and Conflagration Risk Assessment (WCRA), ask questions, and connect directly with partner organizations involved in wildfire mitigation, open space management, and related efforts. 

The LFPD teamed up with the Ember Alliance to develop the WCRA, with the goal of improving our understanding of fire behavior in Louisville's urban and suburban environments. The report includes details about the modeling and risk measures assessed all to help identify actionable methods to reduce risk of structure ignition.
