Health Care Decision-Making Across the Spectrum of Memory Loss

  • Date: 05/21/2026 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
  • Location: Louisville Recreation & Senior Center-Crown Room

Nearly 1 in 10 people over the age of 65 will experience dementia. This session offers tools and guidance for having meaningful conversations about health care wishes—before, during, and even when dementia is
further along. Together, we’ll explore what can be planned in advance, what decisions may arise unexpectedly, and the possibilities and limitations of dementia-related advance care plans. We’ll also look at the dementia advance directives currently available and how they compare. Provided by The Conversation Project in Boulder County, a program of TRU Community Care.
