Louisville Sustainability Series

Post Date:08/16/2017 6:20 PM

A recent poll on www.EngageLouisvilleCO.org showed that Louisville residents care strongly about the sustainability of the City. Top interests were:

  • Navigating available energy rebates
  • Solar
  • Louisville Water System
  • Transportation Options in Louisville

As a result of YOUR input, the City has put together three free community sessions to address these topics. We hope you will join us!!

In addition, Louisville is working in conjunction with Lafayette on a special Solar Workshop. More info to come!

Session #1:
Energy & Money: Ever wonder if your neighbors might know something you don’t know? Learn how to navigate the energy rebates available to Louisville & Boulder County residents. This will be a quick, “energetic” session featuring quick, easy, (and even surprising!) tips and rebate programs with presenters from Boulder County EnergySmart and Xcel Energy.
When: Monday, September 18, 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Where: 1st Floor Meeting Room, Louisville Library

This event has passed. View the presentation here.

Session #2:
Louisville Commute Options:

Commuting Solutions, a nonprofit dedicated to connecting people to places in the Northwest metro region, will present on how to take full advantage of the non-single occupancy vehicle transportation options both in and around Louisville. The City's Public Works Department will also present on measures the City has taken (including future plans!) to help promote different modes of travel.
