New Bulk Curbside Pick-up Event – Saturday (September 14)

Republic Services will be completing its first Annual Bulk Curbside Pick-Up Event on Saturday (September 14) for Louisville residents participating in the city-wide solid waste program.

Bulk items are defined as items put out for curbside collection that are not in a container and do not fit in a 32-gallon cart. Each residence may leave up to five items for collection.

Please have items out in the street/gutter area no later than 7 am on Saturday, September 14. If your trash, compost, and recycling are normally collected in the alley, you will still need to place your bulk items curbside for collection on Saturday.

Please note that this is a separate event from the quarterly bulk item pick up available to each customer, which can be scheduled with Republic.

Items not for collection

The following will NOT be collected:

Freon containing appliances

electronic items

hazardous waste
