In addition to Silver Sneakers® and Silver & Fit®, the Louisville Recreation & Senior Center will accept Renew Active™ beginning January 2, 2020!

What does the Renew Active™ Membership Include?

Your Renew Active™ fitness membership includes access to the Louisville Recreation & Senior Center basic amenities such as our heated pool, sauna, steamroom, hot tub, locker rooms, indoor track, fitness equipment, racquetball courts, drop in fitness classes, and more. If eligible, your membership is available to you at no cost through UnitedHealthcare®.

Who is Eligible for a Renew Active™ Membership?

Plan holders of an eligible Medicare Plan insured by UnitedHealthcare® Insurance Company in participating states can use the Renew Active Program. To check to see if your plan is eligible, or to learn more, visit

What do I need to do to obtain the RenewActive™ Membership at the Louisville Recreation & Senior Center?

To enroll in Renew Active™, you need to provide the Louisville Recreation & Center with your Renew Active™ Confirmation Code. To obtain your Code, log into your UnitedHealthcare® member website and go to Health & Wellness and look for Renew Active, or you can call UnitedHealthcare® Customer Service at the number on the back of your member ID card.

When can I enroll for the Renew Active™ Membership?

The Louisville Recreation & Senior Center has set a side days and times that are appropriately staffed, to process Renew Active™ Memberships at the Front Desk. 
Those are:  Monday-Friday, 9:30 am-3:30 pm, through the month of January. 

Or, you can sign up for your membership during regular business hours beginning January 2. *Due to the busy season, please understand you may have a short wait at any time.   Our staff will do their best to sign you up as quickly as possible.  We appreciate your patience. 

Do I need to show my Renew Active™ Confirmation Code every time I visit the Louisville Recreation & Senior Center?

No, you only need to provide your confirmation code when you first register at our facility for the Renew Active™ Membership. After you are registered for the Renew Active™ Membership, you will check-in using your Recreation Center issued pass number that is listed on your receipt.  If you forget, the front desk can look that up for you.
