Pine/Tyler intersection closure

Post Date:04/08/2020 10:26 AM

The intersection of W Pine Street and Tyler Avenue will be closed for concrete work from Thursday (April 9) at 7 am until Friday (April 10) at 5 pm. A detour will be in place.

The work forms part of the City’s 2020 Concrete Replacement Project, which includes the planned investment in Pine Street.

Social distancing on worksites

Construction is classified as an essential business under the Governor’s Stay At Home Order and the City’s construction activities will continue due to several factors, including financing, contract deadlines, and public need. Contractors will follow the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) Multi-Industry Construction Guidance, which outlines social distancing on construction worksites.

In keeping with the CDHPE Guidance, some activities such as concrete pours, pipe laying, utility potholing, and others may not be able to maintain the 6-foot separation of physical distancing. In these specific cases, construction crews will employ other measures to limit contact.

For your safety and adherence to the Stay At Home Order, please do not approach workers or construction areas.

If you have any questions about the Pine/Tyler closure or the Pine Street work, please contact Geoff Nettleton by email gnettleton@louisvilleco.gov or call Public Works (303) 335-4608.

The Construction Updates website will be updated weekly with the latest details.
