Starting today - facial coverings required in Louisville

From today (Friday, May 8), the following facial covering requirements are in effect in Louisville until June 5:

Indoors in Louisville - Facial coverings must be worn when inside a business that is open to the public, including an office or other facility where government services may be accessed.

Outdoors in Louisville - Facial coverings must be worn outdoors where social distancing of 6 feet cannot be maintained, such as crowded trails.

Facial covering is defined as a cloth, fabric, or other soft or permeable material, without holes, that covers only the nose and mouth and surrounding areas of the lower face. They may be factory- or handmade and improvised from ordinary household materials.
