Outdoor facilities reopen with restrictions

The City of Louisville has reopened the following amenities with restrictions as of Saturday, May 23:

• Skate Park
• In-line Hockey Rink
• Volleyball Courts
• Bocce Ball Courts

The following facilities remain open:

• Tennis courts
• Basketball courts
• Community Park Dog Park
• Davidson Mesa Dog Off-leash Area
• Coal Creek Golf Course

In accordance with City Ordinance, visitors to any outdoor facility are required to wear facial coverings where social distancing of at least six feet cannot be maintained.

Specific guidelines for each facility can be found online in the City’s First Phase COVID-19 Reopening Plan and signs are also posted on site. Failure to follow guidelines could result in loss of privileges and potential closure of facilities.

The following amenities will remain closed until the City receives specific guidance around how to safely permit their opening and manage the associated resource and enforcement needs: 

• Playgrounds
• Ball Fields
• Park Shelters/Pavilion
• Public Restrooms
• Memory Square Pool (Closed for the 2020 season)
