Temporary parking lot opens in Downtown Louisville for summer

Post Date:06/20/2024 12:46 PM

You asked, we answered! The City of Louisville is excited to announce 32 new, free parking spaces in downtown Louisville for patio season.

This new parking lot — located at 833 Main Street — is temporary and will be available throughout patio season, until the first week of November. This seasonal parking comes as a result of a partnership between the City and the property's new owners, making it easier for residents and businesses to access our vibrant Main Street.

The City's Public Works team worked to restripe the parking lot, and it is now open. For a map of all available parking in Downtown Louisville, please visit our Downtown Parking page.

As a reminder, with summer comes more pedestrians, bicycles, and cars in Downtown Louisville. Please remember to slow down and practice patience, regardless of which mode of travel you choose. Be a good neighbor and help everyone stay safe!
