Test drive EVs and learn about home electrification at the Electrification Expo on July 13

Post Date:07/10/2024 5:07 PM

Curious about what electric equipment, electric vehicles or renewable energy could look like for you? Join us for the free Electrification Expo on Saturday, July 13 to check out electrification technology in a no-pressure environment. Activities will be available for the whole family. Get help from experts to meet your goals and come learn more alongside others in your community! The Electrification Expo will take place from 2–5 p.m. at the Superior Community Center, located at 1500 Coalton Road in Superior. This event is free, but attendees are encouraged to RSVP via Eventbrite.

The City of Louisville, in partnership with the Town of Superior, City of Louisville, and Xcel Energy's Partners in Energy, is excited to help you navigate your electrification journey — whether it’s improving your home’s efficiency, investing in electric technology, or powering your equipment renewably. Through the ongoing 1-2-3 Electrify series, we’ll help you every step of the way.

During the Electrification Expo, you can:

  • Test drive EVs and check out the EV showcase
  • Learn about home electrification technology without the sales pitch
  • Get advice on rebates and your specific electrification needs
  • Hear personal electrification stories at the “neighbor to neighbor” booth
  • Enjoy face painting and other kids’ activities. Snow cones from Big Wheel Beverages will be available from 3–5 p.m.!

At 3 p.m. and 4 p.m., there will be an induction cooking demo and free treat samples from Andrew Forlines of the Denver Climate Action, Sustainability & Resiliency team.

Interested in learning more? Save the date for the next event in the 1-2-3 Electrify series to discuss resources and pathways toward electrification:

Step 3. Perfect: August 15, 6–7:30 p.m., Louisville Recreation & Senior Center
