The candidates for Pet Mayor are in, and the first round of voting is open until March 26! The Top 10 finalists will move on to the final round, so now’s the time to support your favorite pet.

How to Vote:

• Visit EngageLouisvilleCo.org/PetMayor and login. Note, you must have an account with a valid email to vote. If you do not currently have one, click register to set up your account. 
• Click on the thumbs up button to like/vote for the candidate or candidates of your choice.
• You can only vote once but you can vote for more than one candidate if you choose.

About the Project

The City of Louisville Youth Advisory Board (YAB) is thrilled to announce the 2025 Pet Mayor Election! This “paw-litical” tradition is back, and we’re looking for furry, feathered, or scaly candidates to take up the leash of leadership.

In 2023, Hops and Arlo made history as Louisville’s first-ever co-pet mayors, a creative initiative launched by the 2022/2023 Youth Advisory Board. After two pawsome years of service, their term is coming to an end – and now it’s time to elect the next pet to lead Louisville!
