It's time for the Louisville Recreation & Senior Center annual maintenance week! During this time the facility will temporarily close to allow staff and contractors time to scrub, shine, paint, disinfect, repair, resurface, wash, organize, and more.
Important Dates:
The entire facility will be closed Monday, August 18 - Sunday, August 24, 2025. It will reopen on Monday, August 25.
Additional closures include:
- Cold Plunge: Closed beginning Monday, August 11
- Group Fitness: Impacts begin Tuesday, August 12. See details below or view the updated schedule online.
- Aquatics Area (including sauna, steam room, hot tub, and cold plunge): Closed beginning Friday, August 15 for pool deck resurfacing. Scheduled to reopen Monday, August 25. See details below.

Additionally, after hours work will be occurring on the roof August 4-6 and in the pool August 11-14.

The facilities below are available for pass holders at no additional charge. Please bring a photo I.D.
Fitness Class Schedule Changes
During maintenance week, we’ll be making improvements to our group fitness rooms—including new flooring, mirrors, and upgrades to the Zoom Fitness Room. These updates will temporarily affect the group fitness class schedule.
- Starting Tuesday, August 12, most Mt. Elbert classes will temporarily move to the Crown Room. Some will be canceled—check the live schedule for updates. Note: Classes in Crown will not have Zoom options. Grays Peak, gym, and pool classes will continue as scheduled.
- Saturday, August 16 classes in Mt. Elbert are canceled.
- Sunday, August 17 – Sunday, August 24: no Zoom or in-person classes. Deep Water Aerobics will be held at Memory Square Outdoor Pool. See schedule >
- Group fitness classes resume Monday, August 25.
Pool Deck Resurfacing
The aquatics area will be closed starting Friday, August 15 to allow time for the pool deck resurfacing project. This closure includes the sauna, steam room, hot tub, and cold plunge. The area is scheduled to reopen with the rest of the facility on Monday, August 25.
