About the Project
Louisville maintains 37 parks and 16 playgrounds, many built 20–25 years ago. Since 2018, the City has been modernizing aging playgrounds to improve safety, accessibility, and ADA compliance. Renovations have been completed at Heritage Park (2018); Keith Helart and Elephant Park (2020); Cottonwood Park (2021); Joe Carnival and Meadows Park (2024); and Enclave (2025). Additional improvements are planned in the coming years, pending City Council approval and available funding.
