The Parks and Public Landscape Advisory Board (formerly the Horticulture & Forestry Advisory Board) represents the Louisville Community in providing guidance and input to City Council, City staff, and consultants on the development and maintenance of parks public landscape projects. They Parks Board also provides advice to City staff on the City landscape master plan, landscape ordinances, and capital projects. Supporting and promoting healthy horticultural practices through public education is also a duty of the Parks Board.
The Board consists of seven members each appointed by the City Council to a three-year terms. Regular meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the first Thursday of every month at the City Services Facility, 739 S. 104th Street. Agendas for each meeting are posted in the foyer of City Hall, at the Library, at the Police Department/ Municipal Court Building, at the Recreation Center, and on this site.

If you’re interested in contacting the Board to provide public comment regarding an issue, please send an email to the staff liaison or call 303.335.4774. If you would like to submit public comments for the Parks Board via email, please note comments must be received by noon the day of the meeting to be assured the Board will get them at the meeting.
Board members also receive mail at City Hall, 749 Main Street. Please be sure to include Parks and Public Landscaping Advisory Board on the envelope.

Items for the current calendar year are kept on this site and previous year's are kept in the City's Digital Records Repository.
