Museum staff are happy to provide special tours for groups of 6 or more people. For school groups, scouts, senior centers, and groups with special needs, please fill out the form below:
- you are seeking specific research assistance
- you have items to donate
- you are requesting a tour outside of the normal open hours
This will allow us to prepare ahead of time and be ready to assist you.
The Museum does not have a venue for food or drink on site, however, there are many restaurants and dining options within a few blocks of the museum.
Out of consideration for the preservation of the Museum’s historical artifacts and small historical buildings, we ask that you refrain from eating or drinking inside the buildings during your visit.
Images taken during activities sponsored by the Louisville Historical Museum may be used in our promotional and instructional materials. Please notify museum staff if you do not wish to have your image used.
Photo and Video Permission
Visitors are welcome to take personal photos during their visit. We ask that you not take photos of historic photos on exhibit. Professionals and amateurs may take exterior photos on the Museum campus without paying fees.
If you are interested in filming on the museum campus or inside one of the historic buildings, please contact the Museum Coordinator for permission and supervision requirements.
