The City of Louisville is now offering a container at the RV Dump Station located at Empire Road and State Highway 42 to dispose of scrap metal (items listed below).  The site will be video monitored 24 hours a day for security.

 ACCEPTABLE ITEMS ARE:

Scrap Metal

Stainless Steel

Brass

Aluminum

Steel

Copper

Bronze

 

 

UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS ARE:

Chemicals of Any Kind

Electronics

Paint Cans

Furniture

Solvents or Other Liquids

Hazardous Waste

Household Garbage

Landscape Material

 

For hazardous waste disposal you may contact the Boulder County Hazardous Materials Management Facility at 720-564-2251.

For other hard to recycle items you may contact Eco-Cycle; the Center for Hard-to-Recycle Materials (CHaRM) at 303-444-6634.
