Fitness Testing Packages

Take control of your health & wellness by completing these tests to know your fitness baselines. By knowing your body composition and other stats you have the opportunity to progress in your fitness routine. Body Composition Analysis with InBody Technology

• NEW! InBody Body Composition Analysis 
  Go beyond the scale! In only 50 seconds, the InBody Test Result Sheet will show your body fat, muscle, and body water.
• Includes InBody analysis.
• Do's and Don'ts before the test

Full Fitness Assessment

• Includes body composition analysis with InBody Technology
• Girth measurements
• Heart rate & blood pressure
• Cardio test (walk or step test)
• Push-up test
• Squat test
• Sit up test
• Hamstring flexibility (sit and reach)
• Shoulder flexibility.
• COST: $47 R / $59 NR (POS 0505)

Beginner Fitness Testing 

The tests are safe and enjoyable for older adults. The tests meet scientific standards for reliability and validity.

Fitness assessments Tests include:

• Chair Stand Test — testing lower body strength
• Arm Curl Test — testing upper body strength
• Chair Sit and Reach Test — lower body flexibility test
• Back Scratch Test — upper body flexibility test
• Functional Reach Test-— dynamic balance test
• 8-Foot Up and Go Test — agility test
• Walk Test (6 minutes) or Step in Place Test (2 minutes) — aerobic fitness test
• COST: $14 with a Health Insurance membership/$17 for all other participants 

Equipment Orientation

Learn how to use the cardio and weight room machines. This is free with daily entry. Talk to a Trainer or the Fitness Supervisor to set up a time.

Accessibility Tours

The Louisville Recreation & Senior Center welcomes everyone. We want all people to feel comfortable using our building and joining our programs.

We help Deaf and Hard of Hearing kids and adults. TVs have captions. Interpreters can be asked for tours, classes, and events.
