The City of Louisville provides additional funding to help businesses get started, making recycling and composting even more affordable.

Each business located within Louisville city limits that registers with a participating service provider for NEW commercial recycling or composting pickup services will receive a $1,150 instant rebate towards such services by submitting a rebate coupon directly to the participating service provider ($1,000 funded by the City; $150 funded by the County).

Businesses may apply for the Zero Waste Coupon within 1-year of signing up for recycling and/or composting services. These Zero Waste Business coupons are available one time only, on a first come, first serve basis until funds run out.

 To claim the incentive, businesses must meet the following requirements:

• Must be an application for NEW compost or recycling services (defined as applying within one year of starting service)
• Must commit to maintaining the service for at least one year
• Must use a licensed hauler (Boulder County has a list of licensed haulers on this webpage under License Application & Renewal): https://bouldercounty.gov/environment/trash/hauler-license/ or contact Michal Duffy at mduffy@bouldercounty.gov
• Must redeem the coupon with the hauler by Dec. 15, 2026, but the sooner the better.

Businesses in municipalities with additional funding (Longmont, Louisville, Lafayette, Superior) may apply for Zero Waste Business Coupons for new services (within the first year) by filling out this brief form and we will follow up with you directly.
