 Why It Matters

Not everything can or should go in your curbside bins, but that doesn’t mean it has to end up in the landfill. Drop-off, donation, and reuse programs give materials a second life, keep hazardous items out of our environment, and help support local reuse and repair efforts.

 What We're Doing

The City of Louisville is proud to highlight and promote local organizations that offer easy, effective ways to reduce waste in our community.

Resource Central Pick-up

Donate usable renovation materials (e.g. cabinets, countertops, and appliances) right from your curb. See the full list of accepted items and schedule your pick-up here.
