HEADS UP: The RV dump station will be closed on Monday, November 10 for maintenance. 

Louisville offers a dump station for recreational vehicles for a fee of $10 per use. All recreational vehicles are welcome to use the dump site for disposal of domestic wastewater only.

For ease of access, the city has upgraded the RV dump site and switched to a pay station that is available at the dump. Users can now use a credit card to access to the dump station without the purchase of an access control card.

RV dump cards originally issued between 2019 and 2024 can receive a partial refund by calling 303-335-4500.

Where is the RV Dump Site Located?

1000 Empire Road (the northeast corner of Highway 42 and Pine Street/Empire Road), the former site of the City's recycling center.

What is the cost and how can I pay?

$10.00, pay via credit or debit card.

What are the Dump Station hours of operation?

Generally Open Year-Round, Sunday – Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Recreational Vehicle Dump Station Rules and Guidelines

The RV Dump is for Recreational Vehicle domestic wastewater ONLY. The Discharge of any other wastes, chemicals or other substances is prohibited.

*Illegal dumping and discharges may result in fines pursuant to Chapter 13.32 of the City of Louisville Municipal Code, Sewer Use Regulation. Illegal discharges are also subject to enforcement under state and federal laws.*

Users shall ensure that children and/or pets are confined to their RV while using the dump station.

In consideration for use of the dump station, users agree to defend and indemnify the City from and against all liability, claims and demands, including any third-party claim asserted against the City, on account of any injury, loss, or damage which arise out of, or are in any way related to, your use of the dump station.

RV Dump hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. The City reserves the right to change the hours of operation without prior notification.

Recreational vehicles must have a discharge hose in order to avoid unnecessary spillage problems. The driver is responsible for cleaning up any spills.
