Here are some great online sustainability resources and ideas for you to use at home:

  • Boulder County recycling and composting videos, including: How Do I Recycle This? and What is Composting? The videos are short, to the point and explain in detail why some things can and cannot be recycled.
  • Colorado State University Extension's Online Do-It-Yourself Home Energy Audit will help you find areas of energy waste in your home. It provides specific suggestions to reduce the energy waste you identify as well as a score and general statement about your home's energy usage.
  • The Colorado Environmental Film Festival presents thought-provoking films and dialogue that raise awareness of a wide variety of interconnected ecological, social and economic themes. A collection of past films are available for streaming on their website or look for their past winners to stream online.
  • Walking Mountains Science Center presents the Family Backyard Nature Challenges! As we distance in a turbulent time, there are still opportunities to learn and explore within our own backyard. New family adventures are available regularly on their website.
