Louisville Historic Context Reports

The City of Louisville adopted its first Preservation Master Plan in October 2015. The Preservation Master Plan prioritizes actions the City can take to help preservation efforts in Louisville. One of the recommendations was the development of three historic reports documenting Louisville's history: Louisville’s  Residential Development; Louisville’s Commercial Development; and Louisville’s Agricultural, Railroad, and Mining Origins. In 2016 this project was approved, and it was finalized in 2018.
