Great Outdoors Colorado created Generation Wild to reconnect kids with nature and get them to experience the incredible benefits that are right outside the front door. To help get you started, here's a list of 100 things to do before you're 12!Playing outside an important part of a child’s development. Research has shown that children who play outside are more creative, less aggressive, less stressed, and have reduced ADHD symptoms. Plus, spending time in nature as a child helps kids grow up to appreciate the environment.

Speakaboos is an interactive reading app designed for kids from ages 2-6. There is read-along highlighting to help build vocabulary and touch screen interactions to engage children and improve reading comprehension. Use of the fantastic resource is free to Library users. You may use Speakaboos on your computer or mobile device.

TumbleBooks are created from existing picture books that are licensed from children's book publishers and converted to the TumbleBook format. TumbleBooks are animated, talking picture books with fiction, non-fiction, and foreign language titles. You will need to provide your library card number for remote access to the Tumble Book Library.
