Superior

The Louisville Public Library is proud to extend our services beyond our walls to neighbors in the Town of Superior. Whether you prefer to visit us in Louisville or access library resources closer to home, we offer convenient options to meet you where you are. A browsing collection, self-service hold pickup lockers, book return locations, and library programs are offered right in Superior.

Browsing Collection at Superior Community Center

A small Louisville Public Library browsing collection is available at the Superior Community Center. Guests will need a Louisville Public Library card to borrow materials from this collection. Items can be checked out using the kiosk at the Hold Pickup Locker Unit.

Self-Service Lockers for Holds Pick Up at Superior Community Center

Self-service lockers for Holds Pickup are now available at the new Superior Community Center located at 1500 Coalton Road, Superior, CO.

How do I get items delivered to Superior?

When browsing our collection, if you find an item you want to place on hold, you can choose Superior Lockers or Superior Accessible* as your pickup location.

*If you select Superior Accessible, your items will be placed in a locker in the middle section of the Locker unit.

When your items are ready for pickup:

You will receive a hold pickup notice by phone or email. To allow staff time to process holds and place items in the lockers, please wait until you get your hold notice before arriving at the Superior Community Center to retrieve your items.

Your holds will be available for pickup for 7 days. Due to space limitations, please pick up your items as soon as possible.

Once you arrive at the Community Center:

  1.  You will need your library card to pick up your holds from the Lockers.
  2.  Using the touch screen kiosk on the locker unit, click “Collect Reservations."
  3.  Scan your card.
  4.  Select items to check out (all items will be selected by default and all items will automatically check out). More than one locker could open if you have many holds or have some with different pickup dates.
  5.  Check in and return unwanted items to the return bin.

Hours for Superior Community Center:

Please visit the Town of Superior website to view the hours of operation for the Superior Community Center.
