Scam alert: Marshall Fire permit fee refund recipients

The City has received several reports of a scam targeting community members who are receiving Marshall Fire permit fee refunds.

Scammers are sending emails asking for ACH authorization or bank account information. The City will not ask you for ACH authorization, banking information, or other financial information as part of the refund process.

All refunds are being processed by mail and will be sent as a paper check.

Please do not respond to emails asking for ACH authorization, banking information, or other financial information.
