Planning

Planning administers land use regulations in the City including zoning, development review, historic preservation, and long-range planning. They also serve as the first contact for developers and landowners who are considering new development or changes to existing development.

Public Works

The Department of Public Works manages all street reconstruction and maintenance, snowplowing, water meter repair, and fleet maintenance. In addition, Public Works maintains sidewalks, street signs, water and sewer lines, and storm facilities.
