Places & Spaces brings vibrant color to the Coal Creek Gallery

Experience color in a whole new way this fall at the Coal Creek Gallery. Places & Spaces, featuring artists Kim Wright and Sarah Geraci, will be on display at the Louisville Public Library throughout October and November.

From frozen mountain peaks to cozy floral sanctuaries, Wright and Geraci take viewers on a visual journey through the places and spaces that surround and inspire us. Energetic brushstrokes and vibrant palettes connect their work, exploring the ways color can bring landscapes, interiors and everyday moments to life.

Wright is a Colorado-based painter who studied fine art at Scottsdale Community College and Arizona State University before earning a degree in graphic design. After a career in graphic design, she returned to painting and now works as a full-time artist from her Thornton studio. Her work is rooted in a desire to create a sense of joy, calm, hope and light.

Geraci holds a degree in art and art history and grew up in a creative household with an artist mother who encouraged her imagination from an early age. Working primarily in painting and sewing, Geraci is drawn to bold color, texture and the beauty found in both nature and the built world. She describes her work as energetic and celebratory, using color and texture to tell visual stories.
