Experience color in a whole new way this fall at the Coal Creek Gallery. Places & Spaces, featuring artists Kim Wright and Sarah Geraci, will be on display at the Louisville Public Library throughout October and November.

The September Library newsletter highlights programs including Gravity Lab, a screening of Half-Life of Memory, Retirement Ready, and clubs and activities for teens and tweens. It also introduces the Library’s new website, shares details about the upcoming book donation event and Foundation Used Book Sale, and features Reading Buddies and new booklists for adults, teens, and kids.

September’s lists have a little bit of everything: talking dragons, standout audiobooks, books that pair perfectly, and selections celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, Library Card Sign-Up Month, International Literacy Day, and more.

The Louisville Public Library and the Louisville Public Library Foundation are excited to host two upcoming opportunities for community members to give books new life—and find new favorites of their own.

The August Library newsletter celebrates the Louisville Public Library’s 20th anniversary with a community open house and highlights programs including Anime Club, a presentation on Colorado’s dragonflies and damselflies, and Active Minds: The History of Colorado. It also shares details about the August 3–4 Library closure, invites community input on the Cultural Services Strategic Plan, and spotlights Creativebug, Kanopy, and new booklists for adults, teens, and kids.

The Library will be closed Monday, August 3, and Tuesday, August 4, for planned system and network updates.

The July Library newsletter highlights events including a summer acting workshop, Karaoke for Teens, and BackStory Theatre's performance of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears. It also spotlights the upcoming August 3-4 library closure for a server migration, the All In Louisville Strategic Plan community survey, and summer booklists for adults, teens, and kids as the Summer Reading Challenge wraps up July 31.

The June Library newsletter highlights events including the Celebrate Summer Carnival at Steinbaugh Pavilion, the Big Bubble Circus, and a Teen Pride Party. It also spotlights the Library's new Kanopy streaming service, curated booklists for Pride Month and Juneteenth, and free Adventure Passes and Colorado State Parks passes for summer exploration.

The May Library newsletter highlights events including a book release celebration with local author Malia Maunakea for AAPI Heritage Month, a space-themed First Friday featuring musician Kid Astronaut, and adult programs on permaculture, amateur radio, and retirement planning. It also spotlights the Summer Reading Challenge kickoff (registration opens May 22), the Bee City youth art contest, and a modified summer storytime schedule.
