Segment of Coal Creek Trail Closed at Dutch Creek for Bridge Plank Replacement

The Open Space team will be replacing degraded planks on the Dutch Creek bridge. The work will require a daytime closure of the trail segment between Augusta Lane to the Dutch Creek pocket prairies.

Detour

• There will be no through access at the closure.
• Anyone who reaches the closure will be required to turn around and return to the posted detour route.
• The detour follows the Powerline Trail via Dillon Road and West Cherry Street and will add approximately half a mile to travel along the Coal Creek Trail.
• Signs will be posted in the area to direct trail users around the closure.
• Please plan for additional travel time, especially if you use the trail for commuting.

We understand this work will disrupt a heavily traveled route and appreciate your patience and cooperation in following posted detour signs while we complete the project.
