About Louisville's wards

  • The City is divided into three wards.
  • Each ward elects two members to the City Council.
  • The mayor is elected by all voters in the City.

Ward meetings

  • Each year, Louisville City Council members usually hold one or more community meetings in their wards.
  • The mayor also hosts community meetings for the whole city.
  • These meetings are a good way to learn about important issues and make sure your questions and concerns are heard.
