Try geocaching on Davidson Mesa and explore open space in a new way. Geocaching is an outdoor treasure hunt that uses GPS coordinates or clues to help you find hidden containers, called caches. Once you find a cache, you can sign the logbook, take a small item, or leave something for the next person.

This self-guided activity is a fun way to learn while you walk. As you search for cache locations, look closely at the plants, wildlife, views, and natural features around Davidson Mesa. It is a good activity for families, students, and anyone who wants to enjoy Louisville’s open space at their own pace.

Please stay on marked trails, respect wildlife, and leave the cache area as you found it so others can enjoy the activity too.
