Emails with City Council are Public Record

  • City Council emails are public record and may be reviewed
  • Any correspondence sent to the "Email Entire City Council" web link will also be sent to the "Open Records" mailbox, and will be available for public review.
  • Emails sent in relation to a City Council agenda item will be made a part of the public record at the City Council meeting.
  • Posts made to the City's social media pages concerning public business or quasi-judicial matters will not be made a part of the public record.
