What is electrification? 

Residential buildings are a major source of Louisville’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. This is mainly because we use fossil fuels like natural gas and gasoline for most of our heating, water, cooking, and driving needs. By electrifying our appliances and vehicles, we can reduce GHG emissions, lower utility bills, improve air quality, and enhance our overall standard of living.
