What is the Grant/Loan Process?*
  1. Applicant first completes Historic Structure Assessment process
  2. Applicant submits the application form and accompanying application documents described above.
  3. Historic Preservation Commission reviews the application at public hearing and makes recommendation to City Council. City Council reviews the application at public hearing. 
  4. If applying for a loan, a separate Loan Application must be submitted to funding partners, the city’s loan administrator, after approval from City Council
  5. After Council approval and executed grant agreement, staff provides a grant reimbursement spreadsheet to facilitate reimbursement requests. See an example here. Ask staff for a copy of your reimbursement tracking spreadsheet if you need a replacement. 

*The grant/loan process can run concurrently with the landmark and alteration certificate.
