Rent a shelter

• A 7-day notice is needed to reserve a park.  
• Prior to making a park shelter reservation, please read the park shelter Rules and Guidelines, especially the Cancellation Policy. We do not cancel for weather conditions.
• In order to use the Online Shelter Rental process you will need to have an existing Household and associated Login (Username/Password) in the Recreation & Senior Center online system. Set up your account >
  • For Household/Login assistance with the online system, contact the Recreation & Senior Center Front Desk at 303.666.7400.
• Once you have an account, reservations can be made online.
• Your receipt is your reservation. Please have a copy of this receipt with you on the day of your event.

Park use permit without shelter rental

If you do not wish to rent a shelter, but you wish to use a section of a public park for a private activity, then you will need to complete and submit a Parks Usage Permit.  Some examples include: holding a yoga class in which you have charged a fee, playing live music, holding a day camp activity or a private school field trip.

For example, to find parks with rental shelters, use the drop down arrow in the “All Categories” Selection Box and select “Parks with Shelters”.
