Louisville Historian

The Louisville Historian is the quarterly publication of the Louisville Historical Museum. Each issue is filled with well-researched articles on Louisville's history, along with news from the Museum, upcoming programs and events, and recognition of our members, donors, and volunteers.

It's one of the best ways to dig into the stories behind our town, from coal mining and immigrant families to the people and places that shaped Louisville.

How to get the Historian

There are two easy ways to read each new issue:

  • Become a member. Members receive the Historian by mail every quarter. Membership is $20 for an individual, $35 for a family, and $125 for a business.
  • Pick one up at the Museum. Stop by the Louisville Historical Museum to grab the current issue.
